Emirates Direct Flights From Dubai to Tel Aviv
Today Emirates has announced that on June 23, 2022 it will start direct flight operation from Dubai to Tel Aviv, a city on Israel’s Mediterranean coast.
This flight services was supposed to start in December 2021, but the spread of the Omicron variant interfered with all the plans. Fly Dubai a low cost sister operator to Emirates has been operating on this route since 2020.
Adnan Kazim, the airline’s chief commercial officer said, “We look forward to finally welcoming customers onboard our flights to and from Tel Aviv this summer. We shall offer them substantial connectivity to and through our Dubai hub as Covid-19 travel restrictions continue to ease around the world and more borders open up.
In addition to unlocking tremendous pent-up demand, Emirates’ debut into Israel will provide more choices for travelers as they return to the skies, and more opportunities for business men to visit Dubai and beyond to our far-reaching network of almost 130 destinations, alongside our signature hospitality and award-winning onboard experience.”
The company will operate three Boeing 777-300ER on this route. Each aircraft will feature eight private suites in first class, 42 lie flat seats in business category and 304 seats in economy class.
On June 23, the first flight (EK931) will leave Dubai at 3.50 pm local time, and arrive at Ben Gurion Airport at 6 pm. The return flight (EK 932) will depart Tel Aviv at 7.55 pm and arrive in Dubai at 11.59 pm local time.
The flight schedules are well timed to provide perfect access to Dubai, and great connection to destinations like Thailand, India, Philippines, the Maldives, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
The flight service to Tel Aviv will also provide 20 tons of cargo capacity on each flight. This is meant to enable Israel businesses export products like pharmaceuticals, high-tech goods, manufacturing raw materials, e-commerce parcels, fruits, vegetables and other perishable goods.
