Uganda Airlines Direct Flight from EBB Airport to London

Confirmed through their X account, Uganda Airlines is pleased to announce their iconic direct flight from Entebbe Airport to London Gatwick. The main aim is to tap into the European market. The nation’s flag carrier will now operate four weekly nonstop flights between Entebbe International Airport and the London Gatwick Airport.

This newly launched route will enhance and foster stronger ties between Uganda and the United Kingdom. It is as well expected to bolster tourism, trade and investment opportunities. Tour operators are very happy and impressed for this new addition. It will generally increase on the number of tourists flying in from the UK.

Previously, the national carrier has been serving destinations like Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja, Lusaka, Harare, Juba, Mogadishu, Zanzibar, Johannesburg, Bujumbura, Mombasa, Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam. The London route is the first one on the European continent.

The four times weekly flight will be on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. There are all at night except the one on Sunday which is scheduled in the morning hours. The first flight will take off on 18th May 2025. Uganda Airlines is committed to offer the service at favorable rates and a ticket will start from 733 USD.
