Revised Transport Fares For Buses & Taxis in Kampala
Bus and Taxi operators in Uganda have decided to revise the transport fares in Kampala and offer the service at a reduced price. This comes after the president of Uganda decided to fully re-open the transport sector. During the lock-down, all vehicles were required to carry half of the seating capacity.
This was intended to ensure social distance and avoid the widespread of Covid-19. This led to an increase in the transport charges around Uganda. Prices were doubled like Kampala – Ntinda charge used to be 1500 shillings.
After the new directives, the price changed to 3000 shillings. Prices are back to normal after full reopening by the president. Cars are now allowed to load full capacity under strict Covid-19 guidelines. Check the price charts below.
