Dubai International Airport Now Open for Commercial Flights
Dubai International Airport Now Open for Commercial Flights
From 7th July Dubai will allow entry for international tourists. Before you book a flight to this amazing city, get to know about this.
All visitors should download the COVID-19 DXB app and register all your details. This app will aid in easy coordination and communication with health authorities once there is any COVID-19 symptom with you.
You must fill a Health Declaration Form before traveling to confirm that you don’t have any signs of the virus.
Travelers are also required to have valid health insurance to be issued with entry permission to the country. All airlines have the right to deny a passenger from boarding in case you appear to be having COVID-19 symptoms.
Passengers must have a legit certificate that indicates that you are negative and virus free. This will be required on arrival at all Dubai airports.
If you don’t have it, then just get ready for a PCR test at the airport. Thermal screenings on arrival are also a must. Those with symptoms of the virus will have another test and also self-isolate for 14 days.
Tourists who test positive are ordered to register their details on the COVID-19 DXB and as well taken to an institutional facility for self-isolation while getting medication at your expense.
Dubai Citizens and Residents Traveling Abroad
Dubai issued a letter indicating that it will allow its citizens to start traveling to other destinations in the World from 23rd June. There will be no restrictions on destinations there are visiting, but are required to comply with the guidelines put up by the countries there are visiting.
Before traveling, all residents are advised to first fill out a “Health Declaration Form” to double confirm that there are free from any symptom of the virus.
If you have any sign, just know that the airline will not allow you to board. On return from abroad, citizens and residents will again undergo a PCR test at the airport.
