Renovations at Entebbe Airport take a Great Shape

Managed by the Uganda civil aviation authority, Entebbe Airport is the main international Aeroport of Uganda. It is located in Kitaasa, Entebbe along the shores of Lake Victoria. It handles multiple flights to and from various parts of the world including Europe. Renovations at this aviation facility are ongoing and the main aim is for it to match the international aviation standards and also handle a bigger percentage of passenger traffic. The government of Uganda took a step to renovate its structures and as well establish new and improved buildings that include the arrivals and departures terminal. The new building is top notch and has all that you may require to access at an international Airport.

The Arrival terminal

The arrival terminal impresses travelers with its new features. The area is spacious and furnished with pretty fittings. It is on the ground floor and includes the well-marked waiting area, automatic sliding doors and pay point for the parking ticket. The area is calm and filled with fresh air. When you move out, you will see many people standing with placards that display different names for arriving visitors.

Departure terminal

After the arrival area, you move up to the next floor, that’s where you find the departure terminal. Not like the other old departure terminal, for this one you are free to drive up to its parking area where you off load your luggage.

After, you continue by foot and enter to check in for your flight. You are not allowed to park at this area for so long. So, the other person with you has to drive off the vehicle to the right parking area or exit the Airport.

The Parking area

All parking areas at the Airport are renovated with new ground finishing, marked and rearranged basing on the new establishments. The ordinary lot is now bigger and well aligned. It includes the space for taxicabs. Right now cars park in front of the arrival terminal. So when you arrive, you move a few steps up to where your vehicle is parked. Generally, the Airport now exists with a new pretty and appealing face.
