This is after their new Airbus A330NEO is certified by its regulators and lifting of the ban on the UK’s non-essential travel. Listed below is the original statement.
“The aircraft is not yet certified by the regulator but we are hoping to have completed that process by the end of April.
If the UK relaxes travel restraints, we should be ready to launch Entebbe – London route sometime in May.”
Besides that, Uganda airlines eye more destinations around the globe including Dubai, Mumbai, Guangzhou in China, and other notable hubs.
This is meant to extend its international flight network across multiple countries. It currently has two airbuses but expects to make more orders for the aircraft in case there is too much passenger traffic.
The establishment is great not only for business travelers but also for the tourism sector of the country.
