Uganda Airlines Starts Weekly Flights To Johannesburg, South Africa
Today May 31, Uganda Airlines, the country’s national carrier has started its direct flights from Entebbe Airport to Johannesburg. This flight company expects to operate four flights along this route every week. The return ticket will cost 341 USD.
Other companies like Ethiopian Airlines, Rwandair, and Kenya Airways offer the Entente-Johannesburg flights.
Uganda’s airline company is more determined to compete with these notable air travel operators. The return ticket for the first week of June is $270.
The Resident Representative for Uganda Airlines in South Africa “Monica Rubombora”, said that her team is working tirelessly to ensure each flight is fully booked.
The rate of current reservations indicates that several people in South Africa want to travel, regardless of limitations put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Apart from South Africans, other foreign nationals from the East African region, including Ugandans use the national carrier for their air travel.
