Rwanda Air to Resume Commercial Flights to Entebbe Airport
After the presidential address where he declared the opening of Entebbe airport and land borders for tourists coming in and going out, Rwanda Air is set to resume its flights to Entebbe.
Rwanda’s national carrier put it clear that it will resume its operations in and out of Entebbe international airport on October 1st.
There are welcoming flight ticket bookings for those who wish to travel from Rwanda to Uganda or Uganda to Rwanda.

Here is there statement issued publically, “Rwanda Air flights to Uganda’s Entebbe Airport are now open for booking effective immediately,”
In the address, Museveni said, “The International Airport and land borders will now be opened for tourists jetting in and out to other parts of the World”.
These tourists should have negative COVID-19 test results tested 72 hours before arrival. Tour operators are advised to make sure that tourists don’t mix with people in the public.
All tourists will be driven straight from the airport to their destinations or Hotels in Entebbe where they will be picked by operators for further traveling. Business delegates will also be handled the same way.
Then Ugandan returning from abroad must have negative PCR results and will be allowed to go and quarantine in their homes. They will only leave their details and addresses with the Ministry of Health for scheduled checkups.
