Kampala to Mutukula

For this journey you use Kampala – Masaka – Mbarara highway. You drive up to Masaka town. From there you continue with Kakuto road. It is about 225 kilometers and requires about 4-5 hours.

Malaba & Busia

With these two options, you follow Kampala – Jinja – Tororo road. There are mainly for those traveling from Kampala to Nairobi or other cities in Kenya. The distance is 270 km and is finished in not less than four hours.

Mpondwe & Bunagana

For those who need to get from Kampala to DR Congo by road, you can use Mpondwe or Bunagana border. The Kampala – Fort portal – Kasese – Mpondwe distance is 441 kilometers. The drive takes about 6 – 7 hours.

If you want to cross via Bunagana you will use Kampala – Mbarara – Kabale road. From Kabale, you drive up to Kisoro and continue with Bunagana road to the border point.
