Facts about Uganda Airlines New Acquired Airbus 320
With the need to maintain and broaden air transport service delivery along its main routes, Uganda Airlines decided to add another airbus on its aircrafts. The national carrier owns six aircrafts. This new one is on a short term lease agreement with Global airlines, a renowned airline company based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Airbus 320 from Global airlines is just a substitute and it will be used for flights on routes like Kinshasa, Nairobi, Lagos and Johannesburg as the other main carriers finish the ongoing scheduled maintenance. It is provided with its pilots and cabin crew.
Moreover, it is a 160 seater aircraft with two class cabins, 138 economy seats and 12 business class seats, enough space for baggage and cargo. It will operate along the mentioned routes for six months. Uganda Airlines is aiming at establishing a huge traffic of customers for their service.
