Uganda to have a Second International Airport
After spending years with only one international Airport, Uganda is soon having a second international Airport. This Airport is located in Kabaale Parish, Buseruka sub-county in Hoima district.
It is established mainly to foster the transportation of oil products in Hoima, but it will as well welcome multiple passenger flights from different parts of the World. Its construction started in April 2018 and is expected to be finished in April 2022.
Hoima is one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It invites thousands of travelers who check in to explore its natural beauty and surrounding places of interest like Murchison Falls National Park.
The construction of this airport will ease on the long distance drives from Kampala city since most visitors to the western region of Uganda will find it better to land at this airport. After switch to their places of interest.
