We are glad to take you on a journey from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the western areas of Uganda. This route is common for those who are interested in the rare species of Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi is amongst the Uganda’s ten Parks and one of the two protected areas that provide a home to the great apes.
Other than Gorillas it is inhabited by a wide range of Wildlife species including reptiles, primates, insects, plants and numerous bird species.
You can get there by road and the drive to this notable park takes about 8-9 hours via Kampala – Mbarara – Kabale highway including a stopover at the equator and Mbarara for lunch. It is somehow long, but rewarding for those who fancy road trip adventures.
Once you get there, a plethora of activities are available to keep your days occupied including the rewarding Gorilla trekking excursion.
